Improvable. Very Improvable.

It seems you've got good basics as a band, but there are a few things, that really drag it down. The mix is the worst thing of all. You can barely hear anything behind the ultra loud crash cymbal. The rest of the drums is almost inaudible most of the song. Also the lead vocals seem pretty unmelodic to me. Screams are pretty okay, but seem to come at weird times. Maybe it's because of a lack of song structure, or it's because I can't hear the structure behind the cymbals.

On the upside the guitar melody is pretty good. But you really need to do something about the mix so the qualities of your music become audible. And if I'm complaining about mix that really means something - I usually listen to a lot of low production heavy music. : D

Supreme work!

When I read the title I sensed this has got to be good. And when I read Classical as genre my hopes got even higher. And you didn't disappoint. Great string composition. Wish I could compose something like this.

Thanks, I really glad you enjoyed it! I don't even consider myself a composer honestly, I just take short melodies I make on the piano and add a bunch of harmony to them and parts of variation, hoping I can at least break the 1 minute mark in a song. But I am trying to improve and your kind words are only added motivation to get better, because It seems like I'm already pretty good!

Thanks for your review!

Entertaining!

The title made me think of something much more traditional asian style, but that's quite good too. Actually I can imagine some funny anime scenes to that music involving perv guys trying to peek on naked cuties.
But pleaaase~ that voice sample is just disturbing and will definitely keep my from listening to this song again more frequently. XD

hmmm~

I guess it's not exactly bad, but it doesn't click too well with me. But you do a nice Techno beat in the first half of the song, especially at 0:38. Also I like the 8-Bit'y sounding melody sequences.
But most of the other instruments do not really sound too great. The strings most of all. Maybe you could save a little bit with them if you'd make them less loud and gave them a lot of echo/reverb, but in general I'd just go with another string instrument.

Anyway, continue making tracks, and maybe focus a little more on your pretty good Techno beat that you have at display and try to support its rhythm more. Then it may even become quite danceable Techno!

DJZen responds:

Thanks, I'll try that out ^_^, I think I'm gonna mess with 8-bit sounding clips for a bit, should be fun.

not bad, try on!

I think the intro is a wee bit long for a two-and-a-half minute and the transition to the actual beat is pretty hard, but apart from that I think it doesn't sound too shabby, especially for someone admitting they don't have too much a clue what they're doing. It's a start you surely can build upon.

But I'm just noticing that the kick starts sounding kind of off starting at 1:31 and staying that way until you change the beat around 2:07. Maybe it's just me.

alienfetus responds:

I'm glad that you like it somewhat. I'll be the first to admit that I've no idea what I'm doing. I still liked the way it turned out through.

Awesome.

For what it tries to be, and that is basically soundtrack for a touching sequence in a videogame it is perfect. Really, it could appear exactly like that in a RPG. I can almost see sprites and text boxes when listening to this.
Great work. Makes me wish for a good RPG that would benefit from this track.

I especially like the faster part starting at 1:02.

Squale responds:

Thanks Lostelei.
You`re right. My thought was to compose it for an emotinal rpg scene.
I`am glad that you like it.
Thanks for review. =D

Me doesn't care an awful lot about anything. Especially blurbing about myself.
